		<description>Daniela:
You&#039;re right that this is for educators, not the general public. Really, not for book marketing necessarily. But educators are very interested in trailers and this will be a growth area this year.

The voice over is myself, of course, and is one of the problems of a DIY book trailer: finding the right voice is difficult, time-consuming and can be costly. Too short? Not in my book. (ha!) I like trailers under a minute.

<description>Thank you for the rubric, I find it interesting and suitable for librarians in its entirety, not as a whole for a prospective reader of the book though - there is no way for me, a person who has not read the book yet, to score Appropriate for Book and Tone.
Visuals: 4 - surprising images at times
Text: 4 - not too much, not too little, love the url at the end
Voice Over: 3 - love the whispering at the end, yet kept wondering for the length of the whole clip: why a lady (godmother for the hero and his sister)?
Music: 4 - great tone and tempo
SFX: 1 - none
Original Concept: 3 - crisis, intent to overcome it,not unique
Length and Pacing: 2 - too short.

		<description>Melissa:
We definitely need to learn to match the aesthetic to the audience. Powerpoint/slide-show aesthetic plays well in schools, but not with classic music. YouTube aesthetic plays well with teens, if you can catch that authentic feel. Movie-trailer aesthetics can play well for everyone--we&#039;re so in tune with movies and great video--but it might take away from the reader&#039;s imagination. A great trailer balances all these concerns.
